Even though most women know what is best for their lives at this point in time; sometimes, through our support, we help bring out that inner voice so the patient can make a decision that is right for her. We recognize this as a tremendous honor, whether the decision involves pregnancy options, STI testing, birth control or any aspect of reproductive health care.
Before you fill out an application
We promise that, if you become a member of the Northland Family Planning team, we will train you and guide you through our programs and services. We will encourage you to share your ideas and we will listen to them. We will help you grow professionally. We will share with you our vision of how we make this world a better place for women.
All of our team members are trained to be able to assist in all areas of patient care services. Depending on your qualifications, degree and licensure, you will learn to provide or assist in every aspect of patient care including:
- Short term counseling for pregnancy options, Morning After Pill, abortion care and gynecological health care.
- Patient care for walk-in services including pregnancy test and gestational ultra-sound
- Working with multi-line phones for appointments and questions
- General office duties
- Routine lab testing
- Surgical procedure room assistance
- Pathology and sterilization
- Recovery room clinical duties and emotional support
