Managed, designed and staffed by women, Northland Family Planning Clinic’s Health Center for Women focuses on the unique reproductive health needs of women. Because many women prefer talking with another woman about birth control, protection, infections and other lifestyle health concerns, we employ a team of exceptional Female Nurse Practitioners who are specialists in women’s health. In addition to being high-quality medical providers, they are kind and non-judgmental and believe that the best care is given when patients feel safe enough to be honest and open about their health concerns.
We also employ female Health Educators who are comfortable answering your questions about sexuality, your body and your health. They can even help you figure out what you might want to ask the Nurse Practitioner at your appointment. We are all committed to providing you with quality care in a relaxed, clean and supportive atmosphere.
We acknowledge and respect all sexuality choices. Young women, lesbians and bi-sexual women may have specific health concerns, but still share the same reproductive and health needs as all other women. Being honest about your sexual orientation and activity helps us work with you.
And, here at Northland, we keep our promises. When we say affordable, we mean it. Our fees are reasonable, we offer discounts for minors and accept most insurance plans. We provide immediate appointments for all services.
