Pregnancy Tests and the Morning After Pill (also known as Emergency Contraception Treatment or Plan B)
Whether you wish to confirm a pregnancy or if you believe you could be pregnant because you had intercourse (sex) without using birth control, Northland Family Planning Clinic can help.
Northland Family Planning offers a variety of pregnancy tests and the Morning After Pill on a walk-in basis.
Morning After Pill
If you had intercourse within the past 72 hours and your birth control failed or you did not use protection, you can pick up Emergency Contraception, a second chance at preventing an unintended pregnancy, at any of our centers (recent studies have found that Emergency Contraception can prevent pregnancy when taken up to 5 days after unprotected sex). Northland Family Planning’s Emergency Contraception (EC) patients receive a FREE pregnancy test when you come in and another after three weeks. The second pregnancy test is also free and will relieve any worry you have over whether or not you are pregnant.
Private Pharmacy Services
Patients can purchase their Morning After Pill and birth control pills through Northland Family Planning’s on-site prescription dispensing service. Your prescriptions will be filled at costs significantly lower than retail stores with no appointment needed and no long, embarrassing pharmacy lines. We understand that privacy, especially when it comes to your sex life and contraception, is important.
Understand Your Birth Control Options
At Northland, you will have a private conversation with a caring health educator who allows you all the time you need to ask questions and share any concerns you have. Questions and concerns that you certainly do not want to holler out in line at a pharmacy. We’re here to listen and to offer both care and support.
